Description: A very fine Fijian ceremonial whale tooth Tabua. This piece is a large example and has a group of three names incised across the surface suggesting this was passed down to several generations. Drilled holes are located at the tooth skirt and the distal end. It has a rich yellowish hew to it possibly the result of the oiling and smoking process.

Dimensions: 15cm long.
