Description

A large and heavy Fijian bludgeoning club with this form referred to as a Vunikau-bulibuli-sevaro (F.Clunie). The root nodules forming the head have been carved to elongated projections. The head has a very dark patina with a lighter patina to the shaft indicating that the coir sennit binding would have covered this area. Some age separation.
